Wag Along Dog Walking is open for business! We will be following all of the Governor’s recently provided guidelines on safety and hygiene protocols (https://www.mass.gov/info-details/reopening-massachusetts, July 2, 2020). Therefore, to ensure safety we will sanitize hands before and after each walk, wear a mask to cover my mouth and nose, and ensure social distancing on all walks. If you are sick, or have been in contact with anyone who may be, please let me know so we can take precautionary measures.
We are all in this together! Please feel free to contact me, at your earliest convenience, to begin scheduling your next walk!
Take care and be well.
Your dog is your best friend, and you are theirs, so naturally, when you're out, your furry friend is in need of some companionship and some exercise! No matter how big, small, young or old, dogs need to walk or run daily. Some breeds need more than others, but even that old friend of yours still needs to take part in some form of daily physical activity. Without walking, your dog will become bored, frustrated and unhealthy. Exercise tones the muscles, helps the body and metabolic system to function properly, and all that walking, smelling, interacting with other dogs engages the canine mind. Anyone who has had a dog that suffers from lack of physical activity and mental stimulation will tell you that they will often turn to destructive behaviors. You will find that these behaviors disappear once the dog is getting out everyday, especially if the dog has a consistent and reliable dog walker.
